The Gorges du Verdon, an unspoilt natural gem, is often referred to as Europe’s “Grand Canyon”. They form one of Europe’s largest river canyons, located in the Provencal hinterland between the Haut Var and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. With vertiginous cliffs rising to 700 metres, this site offers breathtaking scenery, dominated by the turquoise waters of the Verdon river.
